Straight answers
Does TipOffly read my messages?
Scam checks run on your phone. The text of your messages, call audio, photos, contacts and browsing history are analysed on the device and are not uploaded to our servers. When a risk is found, only a short alert (risk type, time and device) is sent to family members who have agreed to receive it.
Can I see my child's chats?
No. Guardians see safety alerts by category (for example "possible stranger contact"), never the content of messages, chats or photos. The child's app always shows what is shared with the family.
Can I add my elderly parents?
Yes, with their informed agreement. Adults, including elders, choose what they share and can leave the family group at any time.
How long do you keep my data?
Location history is deleted after 7 days and safety alert logs after 30 days. Personal data on our servers is stored in India. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. See Refunds and cancellation in our Terms of Use.
Is TipOffly a government service?
No. TipOffly is a private company and is not part of any government agency, police force, bank or telecom operator. If you have lost money to fraud, call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in straight away.
